Unhappy You won't believe what stuck underneath my 335 coupe today (pic included)!!!

As soon as I took the exit to my home today, I saw something red on the road; I thought I successfully dodged it by driving over it--but BAM--I heard rough scratching and scuffing sound from underneath my car. I moved my car immediately to the side and stopped to inspect. Couldn't believe what I saw; a scissor type of object was sticking behind the front right wheel, through the underbody protective sheet (feels like cardboard, not sure what it's called ??) upside down and scraping against the road surface!! I immediately pulled it out from the hole that it made through it !

I was soooo much relieved that it didn't damage anything else at all!

Just wanted to share my pain with the community and warn all to be careful while driving on the road...don't be driving too fast (which I do most of the time)...you don't know what you might discover sticking underneath !!!

bad luck, but I guess there is always worst than that --> for example you could have run into a ladder, as we see them frequently on our hgwys.

I've heard about a fork on the road...but scissors

All joking aside, sorry to hear about your little mishap. So how much damage to your fender liner - I assume that's what you meant?
