4 Weeks to get my car into the shop????
Last Monday I was driving down the street, my low oil light came on and my oil temp dropped from 230 to 110 or what ever the lowest value on the temp gauge is. I figured it was a short or something so I pulled over shut off the car and restarted it, the low oil light was off and the temp was back up to 230 again. Because it only happened once I figured I would just mention it the next time I have the car in but when I happened again on Thursday I decided to make an appointment to bring the car in.
I call my dealership BMW of Belleview to make an appointment and they tell me they have an opening on 25th but wont have a loaner available till the 7th. I say that’s fine I can just wait till the 7th write it down in my calendar and confirm Saturday April 7th and replies no Monday May 7th. I asked her to repeat herself and she says yes Monday May 7th is that okay? I respond with, I am having problems with a 50K car I just bought and you are asking me if it is okay that I have to wait over a month to get it in to be looked at no its not okay. She then asks me if I would like to reserve the 25th without a loner so I can get it in sooner. At this point I am pissed but I realize it isn’t this ladies fault. So I call northwest BMW in Fife (about 40 miles from my house) and set up an appointment for this Wednesday. I called my CA explain the situation and informed him that I would never buy another car from Belleview BMW again. I am just venting but if anyone is thinking about buying a car from BMW Belleview don’t. There customer service is horrible and they charge entirely to much for OEM parts and they quoted me $245 to activate my alarm after I install it.

AJ Did you call Seattle? When I called them for a similar situation they scheduled me in 2 days later..... The difference is day & a night!
Going to Bellevue is a mistake..... BMW NW is really good too. Let me know if you need a ride to work.

Boo on Belleview BMW, what did you CA say after you gave it to him? Did he even offer to try and fix the problem or was it a too bad sucks for you ordeal? Maybe if you give him a chance to rectify the situation he might fix it? G'luck with your car =D

The problem isn’t that I cant get my car in for service. If I would have yelled at the girl in the service department I am sure they would have fit me in. The problem is that they just don’t know how to treat there customers. I want to get off the phone with the lady in the service department and feel better about myself, I want to feel like Belleview BMW cares about me and cares that the car I love so much isn’t running right. When I drop my car off I want to know they are going to give it the attention I would if I were fixing it myself. But I don’t feel that way at all, I feel like they could care less about me, my day, or my car so f-em I will just buy my cars someplace else.
