Anyone Interested in a professional photo shoot day?

I was contemplating obtaining a professional photographer to take photos of my car in various areas of the city for one day, and then I thought...why don't we make this a club event?!

Anyone interested in this event can chip in $20-$40 which will go towards the photographer and access to locations. (exact price to be determined at a later date).

We would pick 2-3 lucrative locations in the GTA to do the shoot, perhaps areas cars can't usually get in, we would make some special arrangements, Airport? etc...

It would be a day event - either Saturday or Sunday, and it would end with all of us at a restaurant/patio having a few drinks/good conversation.

Anyone interested in this?

If there is a good enough list, we could make this happen...I know some potential photographers, if anyone else knows someone, then feel free to mention them.

Also not sure about the locations of the shoot just yet, but it's something to think about.

Anyhow, if you are interested let me know, and we can look into this further. Our babies deserve a photo shoot this summer

If 5-10 people are interested, I will set this up...and you will all be jealous for not taking part :P .....unless the only place i can find to do the shoot is at the zoo...that would suck lol

I'm actually planning on doing one as soon as I get my car detailed. I do portrait and event photography on the side, but I've never done cars before so I'm going to give it a shot when I have chance. I ordered a portable power unit for my lights and it finally arrived so I can't wait for some late evening HDR shots.

Cool, this is all about gouging interest...I don't want to invest the time to plan out a day like this if I don't have people interested in doing it

So far so good!

Professional shots of our cars is always wonderful to have...you can show them to your kids in order to convince them you were cool once upon a time lol

Ok there seems to be enough interest off the bat, I will look into this further this month, and figure out some spots for photos.

Ideally Three locations.

And an end point we can all chill at - ideally outside patio.

I am looking into photographers - anyone can PM contacts of people they know

and possibly eye-candy other than our cars...but I have not decided on this yet.
