Advice on grill on a grey e90
Just been looking at a few 2006/2007 335d e90's and i really like the Sparkling Graphite. But i hate the chrome grill, i've seen a few people getting the black grill's and they look great on white/black bmw's. But i don't really think a black grill would suit a grey e90. The only other option i can think of is getting the grill sprayed grey.

There was a thread running over the last week or so about exactly this. There's some good pics of Sparkling Graphite cars with black grilles - I think it looks good, but each to their own.
FWIW I wouldn't colour code them, that would look very strange indeed!

Definitely go for the black performance grill-will look fantastic.Colour coding on the other hand will look a bit strange.
I've just bought a set and fitted them in about 10 minutes-very easy job. Via Anneka from this forum-prices are as below:- Black Grilles - RRP £95.62 - forum price £81.29 inc vat Last edited by Billyray911; 06-03-2011 at 04:36 PM.. |

Hi
I am planning to fit black grills to my 06 SG 320d M Sport but can't decide whether to get bmw performance ones [ie gloss black] or matt black ones Gloss black will match the shadowline trim i guess but matt black would match the mesh etc on bumper as its sort of matt black - well not gloss anyway. Has anyone pics of a SG car with a matt black grill? I can see plenty of pics of cars with the bmw performance part but none with matt black grills fitted Cheers D |

Check out this thread. Believe it has matte black grilles. Look good to me.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=520950 SGM is my fave colour. Very Teutonic and menacing when fitted with the right parts.

Thanks for replies
I'm still undecided [i know there are bigger decisions in life but I hum and haa over everthing!] but I',m going to order some this week and will just decide when I'm ordering them which to go for. They both look good and are a big improvement on the chrome so it will be a matter of heads for matt & tails for gloss... Cheers D |
