Jlevisw depo projector90 halogen AE installed..
I ordered Jevisw depo projector90 halogen AE and here is my install pics and what i thought and discovered about them.
sorry for the pics...will take more later. sorry for crappy, big pictures. The lights came with 8 extra AE blue cover bulbs. when i first turned them on they had a blue "smurf" color. If you look at the pic you can see how the bulb for the halo ring in installed. It just pulls right out. I may find better bulbs for this later. When i took the bulb out it had a blue cover. I called Jlevisw and talked to Edison, and he said it was a filter for the Halogen AE. IMO it looked terrible. The pictures do not show the true color of how they are in real life. They are very blue and not as white and the halogen are not as yellow, but the have a halogen color. The blue cover pulls right off, hence how i got the halogen look. What i ordered. When you look at my pics it looks like the led lights they sell. Not saying they are, or how the bulb looks, just has the look of them. I order solaris bulbs for the lights and both bulbs blew within minutes of being installed. I took the socket out and the bulb was melted and blown. I managed to get the bulbs out and put the oem amber bulb in the socket...and all good. Edison told me he would make it right. So why they messed up i dont know why. anything else just ask update....i tried the obc to run drl and it turn on the high beam bulb....does anyone know how to wire this up the run angel's as drl...and i dont think the harness thats out will work since i believe the ae are wired in the park light wire??? Nice Headlights. I'm thinking of getting the same. My question is did you just get the Depo lights without any upgrades? I don't want to order the upgrades and get all these error codes everyone is getting. I'm just after the AE and to have the projector look. My car came with halogens and just looking for an upgrade.

Ordered from jlevisw. Depo projector90 halogen ae. 299.99 no upgrades. I wanted the OEM look. Don't het me wrong the led are nice but I'm keeping the car till warranty ends then I'll get another one. So I met in the middle with just the standard depo.

update...well after adjusting and adjusting and trying to convince myself that the h7 halogen bulbs in these headlights would suffice, i have to say my original halogen headlights put out way more light...obviously. so i pulled the plug and got 4300k hid. I am hoping i made the right choice with 4300k. I thought about 6000k but i didnt want a blue color. i just hope 4300k is white, and since i did hid i upgraded to led ae to match....Jlevisw helped out all of my questions and concerns with there chat section. I should have done this in the first place but lesson learned. ill post pictures later when i get them up and running.

yes, my original halogens put out more light because the reflector was designed properly.
depo did a piss poor job designing the reflectors on this light. my right side headlight cannot be adjusted lower so it is aimed up and not lighting the road. my left one i adjusted correctly. now, i need to turn on the fog lights just to get enough light. i am tempted to just reinstall the factory headlights, glad i didn't sell them. just threw $500 down the toilet. |

not yet, i went with the all halogen setup like you did first, but i am debating buying the HIDs or just going back to OEM Halogens. Car is paid off and wife's car is 3 yrs old but she is telling me she wants a new one so I would trade mine in and get her old car (nooooo, not another Buick, I'm not a grandpa yet). I was just going to see how the next gen 3s were going to hold up and get one when her old car hits 5 yrs old.

Yeah. One adjustment screw behind the lights. And the other is if you look on the fender there is a round rubber stopper. Remove that and look in the hole and there is another screw.
