Headlight overlays!
Hey all, new here to the forum, but I've been reading on for a while.
I'll cut to the chase, dont want to give you too much to read! I've been reading along for a little while now, and boy am I impressed. I just picked up my 07 335i on saturday, and cant wait to start modding! Everyones cars are looking amazing, unfortunately a lot of the mods arent in my price range I came across a thread once, with a white (if i remember clearly) e92 with head light overlays. They seemed to be clear, but had a slight "pearl" tint to it. I've searched and searched, to no avail. If anyone can chime in, and give me a helping hand, I'd REALLY appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your help, and for all the previous posts that have helped me in my purchase and future plans! Happy Tuning! |

Things to look into for a 335:
JB+ - I got mnie for $120. Keep an eye on the classifieds. Gives you 60+hp DCI - They are selling them for $98 on burgertunings website. Cheaper in the classifieds. You could also change your interior lighting kit for cheap from www.superbrightled.com I have also heard good things about the euphoria kit from E92 lighting. Dont buy the kit from Bimmian. There are other inexpenisve mods out there (Z shift BOV comes to mind) just keep an eye on the classifieds for part outs. Not sure about the headlight covers but the E92 has awesome headlights, why would you want to cover them at all?

I installed my JB+ at 60,00kms and run at least 91. Set it to just above min (about 3 oclock) for a while and no problems. Juiced it to just above max (9 oclock) the other day. The car is a beast, no problems so far.

Thanks for the input fellas. I wasn't aware they were illegal here, thanks for the heads up! Just to feed my curiousity, what are they called anyways? Have you noticed significant gains with the jb+, as far as drivability?

Teamben, thanks for your input but thats not actually what im looking for. Its a film that goes over the entire headlight, and has almost the same effect as a soapy bubble. Yes i said it, soapy bubble lol
