Took my car in for recall(s)

Dropped it off this past Friday. Having the fuel pump, re-programing and injector recall done. See how many of my injectors get replaced. Interested in seeing what kind of results all this does in terms of MPG, engine smoothness and HP.

Took them 2 days. They replaced 2 injectors, the fuel pump and reprogrammed the ECU. Pick it up this Fri.

Got my car back today! Man Reeves in Tampa rocks. Car runs perfect. MPG's are same or better. Performance seems un changed. Glad I took it in to have all these things updated.

How can u tell mpg is same or any different in less than a day? It shouldnt affect it at all

Nice to hear of such a promising outcome. I always get a bit uptight when taking my car in for something to be fixed that hasn't given me a moments problem ... YET! Maybe I'll stop procrastinating get it done.

I 5/6 injectors replaced along with a new hpfp and a software update. The car feels the same as before.

Took my car there when I was in Tampa for a few days. Very nice guys and they did a good job.

^ I deal with Greg. He's actually car savy. Breath of fresh air to actually deal with a car buff in the service dept for once! Most places just hire sales people for service writers. Kudos to greg.
