Help Car Wont Start!

This morning i got into my car put my key in pressed the button and the guages just flickered and the gas meter was really jumpy. I jumped the car and nothing happened at all. Does anyone have any idea as to what this could be?

UPDATE: I got the car started and running but now there is a transmission problem and a saftey belt problem. I noticed that when driving the transmission does not shift when im at 60 it is at around 5k and still does not shift.

It could be a thousand different things. I wouldnt wait for an answer here. Maybe call a dealer/service centre?

This happened to me a couple days ago..I jumped the battery in the trunk ..after 3 min the car started! My dash would flicker and turn on the power off. Sometimes my radio would work sometimes it wouldn't.
