M-Sport Shift Knob- Electric connection

Whats the best way to connect the wiring for the M Sport leather shift knowb on a 335i 6MT? My car is not prewired that I am aware? Splice into lighter?

The M-Sport shift knob isn't lighted. There's nothing to wire.

Mine is, came off a Z. If it didnt have a wire and connector I would not be asking???
