Rhino Ramps... I guess i'm an idiot..?
Bought some.. They completely suck.
I kick them pretty good against the tire, start to move forward, and every effing time one of them shoots out like someone is squeezing a grape seed. Tried putting a 12x12 paver about 2" thick infront of the ramp, hoping to ease onto it a bit more, but as soon as the car is up on the ramps one shoots out EVERY time. My garage has streaks where the rubber pads slid across from the pressure. Am I doing something wrong here? I'm guessing on FWD the rotation of the tires would be pulling the ramp in towards the rear of the car, that + weight would be enough to hold them in place.. not sure why the hell i'm having these shitty issues.

6 speed as well..
Note that my garage floor does have a paint/coating on it.. maybe it's allowing them to slide despite the rubber grippers on the front?

Silly question for OP: do you by any chance have an aftermarket front lip spoiler, or have you lowered your car?

i have the same problem because my garage floor is very slick.
i use a couple of long 2x4s in front of the ramps. the 2x4s basically stop against the garage wall, so the ramps can't slide forward as I'm driving up onto them. |

I ended up using our shithole of a floor jack after driving it up onto the pavers so the floor jack would clear.

I
I use a bag of rock salt behind each and a 3/4 inch pine plank in front. Works for me.

do you have the rubber block thing under the ramp? I lost mine when I bought the ramp and it keeps sliding away. You can talk to the guys that make rhino ramp and they'll send you new rubber blocks for free.
I just put some mats underneath the ramp and it works just fine. |

Yeah, these things can be tricky. Your options are:
something in front, something under. Or you could drill a hole in the lower portion in the ramp and run a piece of rope under the wheels of the car. Don't get too frustrated, you'll get it. - Z |

Rhino ramps suck plain and simple. Take a look at the flex in the ramp as you drive up as well. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence when my head is under the car.
