Do angel eyes not turn on when very bright outside?
I just got my car back from the dealer, and I noticed the AE's are not turning on...however summer is also kicking in full force, so I'm wondering if the AE's are set to not turn on when its extremely sunny outside?

You can buy a Daeos DRL (daytime running light) adapter from JLevi that allows you to use your Angel Eyes as your DRL's. Also, I think if you find a coder they can do the same thing but without the wires.

They will also be on with your headlights as they come on with the running lights.

you guys are misinterpreting OP
AE are not that bright, in daylight they are almost impossible to see. you will only notice them in a dim surrounding/ behind a shiny flat bumper/ store with a glass window. but when it is very bright out, you cannot see them at all. |

His angel eyes simply aren't on because pre-lci e90s do not use AEs as DRLs. |

Hmm so am I crazy? I definitely have seen my AEs on during the day, but going by the indo in this thread, I guess it was just dim enough for my headlights to be on, period?

my AE is on when my engine is on. Not matter day or night. Is it off when i am driving under the big sun? I have no idea........BUT every e92.93 i ever seen on the road have their AE on. So i guess it should be always on.

read the thread people. OP has a pre-LCI E90. no AE DRL. AEs are pretty dim even if you manually turn them on (headlight or parking lights on).
