Service Engine Soon?

I have a 06 330i, 64k miles and I've had the serve engine soon sign for about 2 months..

Unchanged oil will increase engine wear and reduce power. Your car will tell you what needs servicing in the service section of your BC on the indicator stalk. Your BMW isn't one to be incorrect when it comes to services.

Changed oil very recently, it gives me a red triangle with a exclamation point in it..

Did you skip your 60k mile service? Could be anything really, why not just take it in and have them scan it? We can't tell you what to do or fix because you really have no other information there, either BT tool it and give us the codes, take it to autozone for a free scan, or the stealer.

What mileage is it on? We have a 330d at 55k miles and the next service at 60k will be it's rear brakes. Had new brake fluid at 54k. Give us some more details please!

Sorry just seen your milage - it could be your brakes then. Fluid or pads.

Could be just about anything. If you've not closed your gas cap correctly and started the car more than 3 times, you'll get the service engine soon light. Likewise, if you leave your parking lights on and let the battery drain down too much, service engine soon will come on. The light will not shut off until the code(s) is cleared.
