Exclamation E90 & Csl Rims

Hey Guys,

This is going to make me sound like a newb to everything that exists around me in this forum, but please...help!

I have a 2006 325i and im looking to buy a set of velocity motoring CSL replica rims for my car. The offset on my stock 16" rims is et34 (as the boys at my dealership have told me). Before I order these rims, i want to make sure that they'll fight my car.

The guys down at velocity are saying that they have a set of 18" staggered, with an offset of et40 in the front (by 8.5) and et40 OR et45 in the back (by 9.5). I have limited knowledge on how tires work, but i like the Toyo proxes. I dont want to go too low pro because there replica rims.

Could anyone tell me whether the rims at velocity will fit my car without spacers and if so, with which size tires that will allow my spedometer to read the vehicles speed correctly.

Thanks in advance!

You can run the 18x8.5 ET40 and 18x8.5 ET45 no problem on your car. Most tend to run 12 or 15mm spacers with the rear wheels to push out the wheels to the fender as they will be set inward a bit with an ET45 offset. We do have the Velocity Motoring CSL Wheels available 18's or 19's for your car so feel free to contact us with any questions!

They will fit without spacers but they will be tucked in quite a bit.I have 19's and Im running 265's with 15 mm spacers in the back and its PERFECT.no problems with the spacers as long as their hubcentric.Rogue engineering, and H&R are both hubcentric spacers.

i noticed velocity also offers 22mm offset for the back, would that help (bring the wheel out?) and if so, would i need spacers for those?

you wont need spacers but you will rub.If you roll your fenders you should be okay.I really think the best setup is et45 in rear with spacers. For now, until morr alloys new wheel comes out.

Does anyone have pictures of their car with rear spacers?

when you switch to 18's, your tires get thinner, to keep the same rolling diameter as the oem 16's with thicker rubber. shouldnt have a problem..come to our meet in TO this week...

still undecided where we are gonna meet, but you can ask more questions in person and see various setups
