Opinion/Question about Vinyl

Hi guys,

I've tried searching the forums, but came up with really scattered results that were often not relevant to what I am looking for. I even tried searching on Google, to no real results.

I have a black/black e92, and I'm debating whether or not to vinyl my dash trim in red leather, or just stick with black carbon fiber. I may even consider white CF, though that may just be too tacky. If anyone has photos of it, it would be greatly appreciated!

Also, I have no idea where to find the red (leather-looking) vinyl. Do those even exist or would I have to get CF print or even gloss/matte red? Which option should I pick, and where would I get my vinyl for the best quality/price?

TIA for your help guys

the grain on those vinyls look a bit rough. might not look too good. i e-mailed them and asked whatever would be closest to oem m3 console leather and they told me to try out the whisper fabric

You think it would look better to have a metalic looking bit on the dash trim, or leather look? It's so hard to picture in my head -____-

My interior is all black. I kind of like the red/black contrast, but not sure if it'll look tacky

I think the trim pieces are too slim and small for full leather (or leather look) to look good. It works on other cars because the interior is shaped a certain way to let all the leather flow together as one large continuous piece. On ours it will probably look tacky
