Kudos to BMW Brakes

Was taking some friends out to dinner last night and the GPS took me through a park-like area with some nice winding roads.

I went through the first curve and a large deer ran right into the road from my left. Under full braking I was able to steer to the left a bit and miss the deer by less than a foot off my front right corner. All while the car stayed completely controlled.

In any other car I would have nailed that deer.
Kudos to BMW brakes and Traction/Stability control systems.

never speed on roads youre not familiar. Almost killed me once.

I wish we had that kind of roads with deers around here.
I'd have saved quite a bit of money on beef & chicken.

been there done that too. Smoked the brakes full stop, stayed straight but stopped maybe 15 feet from the buck's butt. dusk is the worst time.
