Test drive Thursday
I have an appt for a 335i test drive Thursday. This will be my first 3r test.
I have had two X5s', one great, one terrible. Looking to get an AT. Really looking for any input on the history of hesitation and turbo lag since the N55 change. Anyone want to warn me off of the purchase due to too many issues? Appreciate any and all input. Thx ahead! |

Google HPFP for 335i and u will start to cry.
Theres ur warning off the purchase  But in reality, its a great car, but dont b surprised if u get into a whole slew of maintenance issues.... And regarding turbo lag, i believe there is less in the n55 than the n54, and barely any to begin with |

Hardly any turbo lag with the N55 ... anytime you are ~1.5k RPM or over, you have the full torque available.

Ok, after a rain delay, I drove the 2011 335i tonight. Wow! Black on black car,
everything but the M sport package. Fell in love immediately and bought it then and there. I drove it pretty hard and all I can feel in D mode is the quick early upshift. No hesitation to me. Definitley feel the boost kick in early. If all goes well I should pick it up tomorrow night. Will follow with pix. Thx to all! |

335i. So far I am in love. 28mpg on highway. Sports Package. 342 style wheels. Pix are cooking and will attach. Glad to be here! Thx again. |
