FS: Pre-LCI (08) iDrive HD Radio Retrofit Kit
Includes: IBOC module, coaxial cables, connectors and know-how. An additional antenna signal splitter is needed (not included, $80 from Tischer) only in order to maintain RTTI feature. Light labor is needed (removal of back seat, C Pillar, 3rd Stop light, etc), as well as NCS or Autologic Exp coding (just as done for Sat coding). Price: $275 shipped. For those in the Orange Co area, we can perform install/coding for you.
Good luck on the sale!

Successful HD Retrofit!
I ordered this kit from ergoyo and am happy to report that I now have HD radio in my 2007 335i (thanks for all of your help!!). I did not have a CDC, only the prewiring, so I used the MOST cable meant for the CDC to go to the IBOC (just needed to modify the plastic connector a bit to make it fit). Overall the installation was very easy – the trickiest part was using NCS Expert to program the car (activate IBOC and change the Vehicle Order). If you are not familiar with this and don’t want to take the time to learn you should be able to have an independent shop activate it. I was quoted $125 by a local shop in Minneapolis but wanted to try to do it myself and luckily I succeeded. While I did this I also installed BMW option S418A – Luggage Compartment Package. The only other tricky part was modifying the IBOC mounting bracket to work in my situation of having the premium sound but no CDC.
