help on color
Can some of you on here give me your opinion on color? black on saddle brown, white on black, or black on black? Those are my 3 choices so far. Any others would be helpful, I will be tinting the windows and probally some aftermarket rims. Tyler from Ky.

I say white on saddle. Black interiors/exteriors get hella hot and dark exteriors are a bitch to clean. Also, black interiors basically are an option for every car ever. Brown makes your car feel more BMWish and exclusive, if that makes any sense.

Blue on saddle, sparking graphite on black, sparkling graphite on saddle, sparking graphite on red, black on beige, white on black, white on saddle, white on red, mojave on cream, mojave on saddle, space gray on red and space gray on are the only colors I would pick, having seen them all in person.
Crimson on beige/black also has some limited appeal. I would stay away from anything I didn't list.

My 335d just came in this week. I had the same dilemma, Le Mans Blue with Black/Saddle/Chestnut. I played it safe and ordered the Black Dakota, no I haven’t taken delivery yet. (Spain have to wait for vehicle in person to order plates) But after getting into it the HONEST TO GOD first thought was "Damn, I should have ordered the Chestnut"
My point? Deep down inside you know what you want. You will be happy with the car no matter what, but trust me you don't want your first thought to be anything other than "FINALY"

No one here can help you dude. You have to live with your choice. There are tons of pictures here, so check out the alpine white section and the jet black and black sapphire threads. It really does you no justice taking everyone's word because at the end of the day you're the only one that has to live with it. What I have learned here on these threads is that everyone's very different and has their own unique opinion on what looks good. I had an 07 Arctic Metallic and it was a love/hate color. The few of us with it loved the color, and most others hated it. With MSport package and some blackline tail lights I think it was one of the nicest combos out there. But so many disagreed. Enough disagreed that when I made my decision to purchase, I second guessed it every day until I took delivery. When I saw it in person, it was clear I made the right decision. Saddle in my opinion only looks good in a LeMans Blue. The tan is disgusting and shouldn't be an option. Red looks good but only on Alpine White. Black is awesome in any interior. Wood grain looks stupid with black so get aluminum. There are tons of options so just check out the threads to see what you like. I'd never condone getting a black car, so by default get AW with Black interior. |

I got Alpine White over Oyster/Black. I've always loved the alpine white bmw coupes, although I would have also taken sparkling graphite which was no longer available. If Laguna Seca Blue were available I would have taken that as well, but even that's a $5K option for M3's only. I would stay away from the saddle brown leather, it looks like poop color. I don't think it looks good on any color combo. Get any leather besides the saddle brown.

This combo is sick, but not available to e90, only for e92
I had this dilemma a while back, ended up getting AW on black There was a poll I started with a lot of good recommendation, its here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=512448 Black exterior is harder to keep it clean, the swirl on the body is more obvious.
