Metallic rattle when letting off gas

Hey guys,

My car has this metallic rattle when I let off the gas in 1st / 2nd gear. It's pretty noticeable with the windows down. It only happens when its cold (first minute when the car is on). After it's warmed up, it stops. I was thinking maybe it was the exhaust flap so I've tried unplugging the cable in the trunk for the exhaust actuator but that hasn't done anything but create more exhaust drone.

Any ideas?

Lots of things can cause rattles in our car. is your car a 335 or non-turbo? the wastegates in the 335's are prone to creating a rattling sound especially during cold starts or shifting. Search rattle and you will find a ton of info. hope this helps.
