How about reading the owners manual and figuring it out all by yourself? It's really not that hard to understand.

And for a hint - look up 30,000 mile Inspection in your Warranty/service manual.

Or just schedule an appointment with your dealer and have it done - you do know that it's free during the warranty period, don't you?

Just remember if you have a question to consult the owners manual or search the threads here, or even google it first.. Asking questions on here can lead to smart ass responses, jack ass responses, or 50 different responses, none of which are the same.

And since the info on his question is basically found in the separate Warranty/Maintenance manual, it should usually be consulted as well as the owner's manual.

Mikey, sorry if I sounded a bit testy.

Well the OP's question is useless and unanswerable. His service indicator came us as past due, BUT WHAT SERVICE is due? Had he read the OM and figured out that he needs to delve a menu lower to find out what service is over due, then he wouldn't need to ask the question in the first place. OR, us E90 memebers can all just guess until our balls fall off and not give him the correct answer.

Then he decides to tell us that he just had the oil service performed, so it's now a game of pulling teeth, which is a waste of all of our time.

Which is why some of us give jackass answers...
