given the fact that your first 3 are basically non existent...and they're all things that you seem to want....

Put the money away in a savings account and forget about it. It's not enough to actually make any sizable difference to the rest, but it will help if you get another windfall, or a good 'backup'. When another windfall happens, choose one of the first 3 and pursue it

This is all assuming you don't have a huge savings account already

I agree with the 2 grandpas in here....

however if you want it for future use, invest now while markets are still low. Put it in something with medium stability, and just forget about it. If you take the risk of grabbing something low stability you may never see the money again, but if you play it somewhat safe, you can get a good return in a couple of years when you're ready to fully invest in your business.

If you go for a nice stable stock, all that's going to happen is it will just go up in value at about the same rate as the economy and inflation, maybe a little more, and that's about as good as putting it in a bank and getting interest on it.

Depends on what kind of business you want to start but I would choose that one.

I started a little brick and mortar eBay store back in '05 with $2k, I built it up then sold it. I then started another one on a slightly larger scale and now have a couple of warehouses and more importantly independence and pride.

Thanks for all the info and suggestions everyone! As for my business idea, it will be a brick and mortar that shouldn't be too pricey to start. Just trying to find a place in the location that I want.

ABQ325i, would you have time to have dialogue with me in the near future so I can glean some wisdom and information from you?? I would really appreciate it
