E90 335i Montego on 66?
Ok Last time i posted a thread about a car I saw it turned out not to be a member. But this time I am really hoping!
66 westbound 11:15 this morning anyone? Who ever this was was doing a High speed run! I mean this dude was really pushing it! I was the Arctic right behind you trying to keep up! I know I saw 110, and this guy must have been doing 140! God 335's are fast!! I mean a 335 and a 325 are two totally different classes of cars!! Anyone? |

wow...yes I must agree, the acceleration on these beasts is phenomenal. I witnessed firsthand during our last 2 meets-drives. Although I must say, bavarian19's 328i pulled pretty fast, I could notice his car's officially minor power advantage.

Funny, how I consider my car slow compared to sstarch1's ProCede'd 335...that one little mod makes the car sick-fast...rather than just silly-fast.

It's pretty hard to snap camera phone pix when I am trying to merge into traffic...I'll do better next time...

This whole thread makes me glad I've not driven a 335...I don't need to experience it b/c I don't need that payment

Ha ha! Here here! It really is an awesome ride! I know the dude was just stickin it to me! He saw me up ahead of him with a single exhaust, and knew I wasn't packing much (comparatively) under the hood!

I had fun last Saturday afternoon. I was heading to a friend's house, and an E46 M3 blew by me on Hwy 32. Needless to say, I dropped 2 and punched it. He was only 2-3 car lengths ahead when I hit the pedal - and he never opened any more. Confused the heck out of him, as he tried to run away....

Im still somewhat taken back as to the 328's power. Its certainly an improvement over the 325 (no 335 by a long shot, but still impressive IMO). Much more than I was expecting... I just broke 2k miles on my way to work today... I cant wait until after the 10k mark when this engine starts to purr

fortunately and unfortunately, I have a short commute to work, so the car really isnt all that warmed up by the end of the drive... The only time I get to warm her up well is coming home from coaching, but I sit in traffic the whole way home |
