Tuf-Shine & Sonax Wheel cleaner?

Question that i feel might be on some peoples minds.

When i was reading up on tuf-shine it says not to use any strong cleaners on it or it'll fade quick. If any Sonax gets on it has anyone seen fading or any negative results?

Haven't used Tuf-Shine yet, but I would imagine strong cleaners like Sonax would impact the protective Tuf-Shine clearcoat. It probably won't strip it completely off the tire, but you probably won't see "months" of life from Tuf-Shine if using Sonax regularly.

i'd say sonax can fade the clearcoat of tuf shine, it can clear years of baked on dust.

My tuf shine kit is on its way, and I'm getting a bottle of sonax full effect wheel cleaner 2 days from now. Sounds like these are two popular products right now. I also think that the wheel cleaner will cause tuf shine to fade quicker.

Update us after 2 weeks of use with these products and let me know how the tuf-shine is holding up with the sonax use.

Sonax is not that strong. It's not even acidic.

Most tire shines can't even last through rain. That would be extremely durable.

The Sonax wheel cleaner will not strip off the tire clear coat if you spray it on the rubber.
