Montego Blue Sedan-335i
So its been 6 weeks since I took delivery of my car and I'm really happy with it. Happy with the power, happy with the ride, happy with the looks, ect.
This car is a 24 month lease, so by that time, maybe I can squeeze myself well into a nice M3, or what not. I do not plan to add much more to it other than a "Procede", but thats it. The car has CSL replica's off Mod Bargains, strapped with Kumho Ecsta SPT's 19x8.5 F with 235's 19x9.5 R with 265's I have "non-M3 offset" (ET45) and really regret it. I do not plan on lowering the car (atleast it has Sport Susp.) wish it would sit a little more flush. I purchased spacers, but that undoubtly was regretful as well. So for now its sitting well on the hub with a more stock appearance. The tints, well they're dark. Lets leave it that that. I swapped the tailights with blacklines, looks nice, and very different. I live in Miami, and have not ONCE seen an e90 with blacklines yet. These pictures were taken today after an application of Zaino CS. I took delivery with no dealer prep. Car still had plastic and cardboard inside and lots of waxy residue still on the car. My prep was WASH FK1 Decontamination Kit Menzerna PO106ff via rotory and finishing pad at 1000rpms ISO-Alcohal wipe down Zaino Z5 zfx'd 3 times. Zaino CS and Z8 throughout the weeks. Tires are wearing Meguiars Hyperdressing 1:1 |

Very nice! Very shiny!
Why were you regretful of the spacers you bought? What brand spacers did you buy? I think a set of Rogue Engineering 12mm or 15mm spacers would be just about perfect. I have 15mm on mine with no problems but those with 12mm would argue its more optimal.

I had originally gotten custom spacers off a tuner shop. They ended up being returned a week later because they were not completely fush with the hub, and would cause the wheel to vibrate sometimes. Then I got Eibach spacers off the same retailer. A week later, while cleaning wheels, I could see the spacer began to get tons of chip like cracks where it touches the hub. After that, I simply took them off and counted my losses. Next time, I'll just buy wheels, witht he RIGHT OFFSET. |

Looks great! (minus the super-conservative rear offsets of course)
I am really happy you posted those pics because I have not seen a montego blue E90 with CSLs yet... I am in on the Forged CSL group buy through Morr alloys and should have my wheels in less than 2 months (rear wheel is 9.5" +28 FYI) - in addition, I'll have the OEM rear spoiler and OEM painted front splitters and be dropped on H&R sports... your setup looks good on the sports suspension, though, and might make me one-up the tire sizes (245/35 & 275/30) and keep the stock sports suspension... I guess I'll get the wheels/tires on and then decide... As far as the blacklines, I just don't think they flow real well with the Montego Blue and everything else stock - however, if you had shadowline trim and black kidney grilles, they would complete the look (and this might be something I consider down the road)... At any rate - car looks great and I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for posting the pics! BZ
