NCS-Expert - COAPI-1000 Error - After using Dension programmer to enable CD Changer

Two days ago I coded several options (Digital Speed, Corner Delete, etc) on my 2006 E90 330i.

However, after installing a Dension Gateway 500 and using their programmer (OBD-II) to enable the cd changer controls, I now get a COAPI-1000 error when attempting to back up from choosing chassis and 'CAS'.

I put the dension in service mode and used the programmer to remove the changes, but I still get a COAPI-1000 error. So I'm stuck.

Now that I'm back inside I can't find a log file which has the details.

I'm using NCS Exper 3.1.0, COAPI 3.5.1B (so daten can't be an issue since it worked before?) and I've tried clearing the man file. I've also tried a entirely new profile w/o any luck.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I've now tried updating the daten files and drivers found in this thread:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=480261

Still no luck.

UPDATE::

I'm thinking that the Dension programmer added/modified the VO, but didn't remove some prep code so now it's conflicting? Everything works as expected from the Dension, all previous coding I did is still in place. Just can't get passed the COAPI-1000 error to do anything new.

I have a backup TRC (taken during the DIY) of the entire car.

Is there someway to reload this even though this error is occurring?

You have an 06 and the base NCSEXPERT/EDIABAS is fully supported with all your modules.

Try this. Rename your existing EDIABAS folder and restore the original from the zip file.

Then try coding the car. I've run into a few situations where the daten updates broke access to modules on older cars, NFRM for example.

Tried clearing the work folder, still no luck.

Tried replacing the EDIABAS folder with the original from zip file, no luck either.

Error Msgs from ERROR.LOG:

Error! Modul: CVT_PROC.C ProcNr: 02, LineNr: 10, ErrorNr: 106
Jugend_Forscht

Error! Module: COAPI.CPP, Proc: coapiGetFswFswFromAsw, LineNr: 02, ErrorNr: 1000
COAPI-1000: error

I have two guides (attached) for changing the VO, one says to use the delete key on the keyboard to remove an option. I tried this and didn't see any change?

I don't see how to delete an option from the VO, only add? Regardless, part of the process is 'F6' to go back, which is what fails. So how can I do this?

The retrofit kit code (IPOD) was added, but the prep code ($694) was not removed. Could this be the problem?

Ok, so I've taken the Dension off the MOST ring and removed the IPOD retrofit code using the Dension programmer. So everything is as it was.

The error still appears in NCS.

Any ideas?

Hi, so yesterday I've tried to install Dension 500s BT. First I have tried to code the car. But I got error
COAPI-1141: FSW faulty
MP3_CHAMP

so I've code car without this option. We've connected the Dension and everything works fine but I am not sure why I got the error. Is it necessary to have this attribute in MASK?
