m5 replica

hey guys. I gave a quick search but would just like to confirm prior to purchasing. Will these fit my e90 xi? Will I need any spacers and also, will I need to worry about the FTM going off? Iirc the sensor is only on the e92..correct me if I'm wrong. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

Yep that offset is far to aggressive for your car, you will need the ET 38 front and rear available on our site:

Yes those offsets are all low for the 5 series specifically. We would put a 38ET on their for you, let us know we've put the m5 reps on lots of e90's so we can definitely help you out. If you require a tire package with it let us know as well we can get one put together for you.

Well he quoted me $1200 shipped with tires (falken) for that package. Can either one of you match that? I can show you the paypal invoice he sent me. He also mentioned he can get me the 38ET...I'd rather buy from a e90post vender so I can keep it in the family. Let me know

Ok, so I just got off the phone with Ron and was advised since I have a xi, i should steer away from staggered.

My next question before purchasing is what is the deal with the flat tire monitoring system. Do I have to change anything out of my old rim prior to installing the enw one. For some reason I think only e92's need this...

Any issues? I want to do something similar for summer but be able to slap the stock 17's on in the winter with no problems.

Well from what I hear from all the venders are that you should not to staggered on a xi b/c its AWD...Ron mentioned something about understeer, which I guess makes sense. I'm going with the 18" m6 setup through Ron...too bad I'm going to have to wait for a month or so to put them on since we never know if we'll have another snow storm

I just put them on a couple days ago. Paullaj has them and I believe he has a couple months experience with the staggered setup on his xi. He didn't tell me any adverse effects. I dunno 18's are too small for this car. Look how they look on my car...

I'm probably going to go for the m6 reps too. It was between those and CSL reps. I'm still thinking about 19's, staggered. If I'm not mistaken, BMW offers the sports pack with staggered 18's for the xi.

Very true... With the ZSP you can add another $500 or so to upgrade to the 162's that are staggered.
