Post Winter Repairs

Well boys, im preying that we have had the last of the snow for this year.

Its the first winter i drove the car. But man does she need some repairs (im a bit picky when it comes to my car)

What repairs do you have to do. Mines as follows:

Service Engine Soon light came on right around i hit 85K on the car. Have to find out what needs to be done.
Passenger Front side Suspension has a clunk noise when going over uneven roads. I have to find out whats happening.
Driver Side Angel Eye LED went out. I have to replace it
Rear Rotors are warped (getting a bad vibration in my steering wheel when breaking)
Aftermarket Stereo shuts off for no reason ( have to check and see whats the issue)

Here are mine:

- Service Engine Soon light came on around 79K
- Oil drops in the engine bay, there is a burning smell every time i start my car
- Engine shakes at 0.8 RPM and sometimes while idling at a light
- Clean my intake (injen intake)
- Driver's side xenon light goes on & off
- Passenger Side brake light went out
- Need an oil change
- Repaint front lip
- Rear bumper tow hook cover fell out (getting it painted with front lip)
- Detail
- Need to change rear brakes soon (in 10K)

I'll do everything after my exams, which is on April 16th

- BMW oil change + recall repairs
- Swirl removal
- Fix small dent on hood from rock chip (went clean through 3M and paint)
- Tiny bit of wheel rash .. but replacing with new summer wheels + tires soon

The only other damage I took was additional pits on the windshield.

-CRAZY AMOUNT OF SALT/ROCK CHIPS NEED REPAINT! this accumulated over 3 winters tho:P
- my service light just came on 86k
-left rear passenger spring might be lazy from driving on uneven grounds

those 3 are mine

Bringing my car in Tuesday.

- repair Salt/rock chips
- oil change @ 69k
- rear suspension squeaking
- radio doesnt work when rear defroster is on
- gear shifts are rougher
- clean injen filters

2. BMW recalls (HPFP, Seat Belt, Tail Lights)

Goes in on Wednesday.

Your front bushings need replaced. I had this done recently under warranty and you can do a search on the boards for the info.

Rear bumper needs painting and filling from a love tap. I can even see orientation of his license plate bolts.

-I have to get my fuel pump replaced
-Get my injectors checked as per a recall
-Get my brake fluid flushed

Thats it!
I just need to reinstall all my mods after i go into BMW!

I noticed a nice little dent on the front bumper right between the two kidney grills. Being on the bumper there isn't much I can do about it though since it's plastic.

At least the paint wasn't really damaged there though.

My tail lights assembly also acting very wired! my right rear brake light always out but not because of the bulb. I just have to hit the assembly and it will back up again for 2 days!

For my stone chips i have a family friend who has a bodyshop and does all my bodywork/paint. he ain't the best but i can't complain, his work is decent enough to me.
