Looks so nice with space grey. How are the roads in Sweden? Although I'd love to put 20's on this car, the roads in every urban environment in the United States look like this.

Well, the roads in western part of Sweden is really bad after this winter.
You have to look out for pot holes all the time. One mistake and the rims are gone.......

BTW - the ride is fantastic. No noticeable reduction in comfort when driving in Normal damper mode.

DO you have RFT's on the car or regular tires?

Wow, that combination is insane.
I agree, 20" seems to be no problem whatsoever for the suspension.

it would be one thing if we got some crazy weather here in Los Angeles. But for the most part we have one of the most mild climates in the world. Which means the roads are destroyed out of neglect. The state, county and city are all broke and they have no money to fix anything. But they do seem to have tons of money to spend on redlight cameras because they're "concerned" about our safety. What a joke.

Hey cidair,

I'm thinking about getting the same wheels and also have a 550 XI.

Did you use a staggered set-up?

From what I understand, BMW does not recommend staggered sizes on the XI.

I know just what you mean; over here we have speed cameras all over the place and police lurking in un-marked cars, often at night and on deserted stretches of open road at that. Absolutely nothing to do with the motorist being an easy target!!!!
Of course, I fully accept that it's illegal to break the speed limit, but where is it more dangerous to do so - on the open road or in residential areas where there are pedestrians including children and the elderly?
Next question: where do you never see a policeman? I reckon you know the answer to that .

245/35 20 front and 275/30 20 rear. All is BMW OEM.
My car came with 19", 245 front and 275 rear ( M-Sport pacakge ).

Curious if you think the 21" 312 with offsets for the F07 would work? Appears the F07's offset would have the wheels out a little more but can't really tell from your pics if it would look right or not.

Thanks
