Interior finish specs

Using the BMW UK configurator, if I spec (a 320D SE) aluminium trim the Sports steering wheel I have also specced is plain black. If I stick with the standard Titanium matt, then the steering wheel has the bright spokes......

Can anyone confirm/deny/help??

Cheers

That is correct. Titanium Trim = Steering wheel has titanium trim
All other trims (wood or aluminium) = Steering wheel trim is black

Steering wheel trim in both woods is available as an accessory by BMW (but very expensive). Aluminium trim for the wheel is not available.

Cheers for that!

Dunno what to do now though.....

I reckon the "silver" trim on the wheel brightens up an anthracite interior.....but then the aluminium trim looks better than the matt titanium....

AAaaarrrggh!!

If there was aluminum trim for everything that titanium trim was available for, there would be a LOT of order changes!!

That's my plan!

I intend to specify the Sports seats with the Cloth/Leather upholstery, rather than going full leather......at the moment....

Although dark interiors tend to show dust, they are much more practical with young kids......We have a Touareg with a dark interior and all it takes is a quick wipe to look pristine again.

Decisions....decisions....decisions....

Definitely go with black. It's the easiest to clean, and also it doesn't show wear as much when compared to beige or grey.

Chirisbin, the interior in Spain goes like that, in fact I've ordered the standard titanium trim because I prefer the steering wheel with grey inserts.

I've also ordeder the graphite standard seats, I had beige seats and

disappointed about steering wheel trim!

Chrisbin, thanks for pointing out about the alu trim for the steering wheel. I have ordered a 325iSE and had picked the brushed aluminium trim, thinking that the steering wheel would have the same effect. I checked the .co.uk site and saw what you mentioned. I can't understand why BMW have decided to do this
