That is simply incorrect.

Some orders take longer than others based on availability of forgings. I know which order you are referring to and when the order was placed he was told that it would take much longer than usual for the setup he wanted. At that time there was a limited supply of those sized forgings. Right now they are in stock so wait time is actually less than for most other sizes

Every order we have received has shipped within the 4-6 week time period which is the norm with custom wheels.

For reference:
We have had turnaround times of over 5 months with some other companies for the same reason as mentioned above. As you can imagine a deep concave 18" wheel isnot readily available because not many cars use it. So in a case like that a customer will be told that it will take a long time to make the set. This goes for any company you purchase wheels from. Some wheels will take longer than others based on availability especially with concave forgings which are much more rare than the traditional forgings.

In any case i'll let those who have actually purchased a set chime in with their experience

I'm feeling the need to chime in on this just to clarify for everyone.

I ordered a set from Forged 1 in early-mid January. First of all, I want to say that it has been a pleasure working with Jorge@wheel addicts, his communication and customer service have been exceptional up to date.

We all know that custom wheels are made to order and take time, and with the 21" forgings I guess it takes a bit longer. Yes, the wait has been killing me, although a 6-10 week wait was disclosed by Jorge early on. We are now on the 10th week and I am happy to say that the 21" forgings have arrived and are getting ready to be cut

Wheels should be here this coming week or so. I Will update this thread with the wheel production process as pics become available, as well as pics of the F10 once they're mounted.

P.S. Kev, thanks for sharing the suffering with me throughout the wait.
