2011 LCI E90 335i, GP thunder or LUX H8?
Hey everyone,
I am thinking about either swap my headlights into GP thunder 7500 superwhite or getting lux h8 angel eyes. Obviously the GP thunder lightbulbs are much cheaper. Do they look a lot worse than the lux h8? Or should i save money and get the GP thunder? I still hear people say that lux h8 is great, but still does not look good as the OEM LCI headlights, now which OEM LCI headlights are they talking about here??? Please help me out Thanks a lot! |

I have had RD LEDs, GP Thunder 7500K and now LUX H8 Version 3. LUX is by far the best of these for the E90 LCI angel eyes. People compare these to the OEM E92 LCI angel eyes, which are LED from the factory.

So the OEM E90 LCI angel eyes are not LED, but the E92 ones are?

I am using the gp thunder 8500k super white on my e90 335i it looks perfect I really love that four circle
I also order the led h8 it look sucks the outer ring looks invisible in day time can't really see the white color I will prefer u get the gp thunder much cheaper I paid around $30.00 H8 the LED H8 cost me around 150.00 but compare two of them take gp is better I highly recommend. |

Well, let me put it like this: there are cheaper products, but you're going to be disappointed with them. There's a reason people love and pay the premium the LUX product--because it's so darn good! You can pay less for interior products, but you will find that they only look good at night, and barely show up during the daytime. If you get the LUX, you're not going to be disappointed.

That's a good question, it's a BMW part, and it's absurdly expensive to replace. The heatsink on it is massive. The angel eye bulbs were developed alongside the new angel eyes, no question. Henceforth, it's absurdly bright. I personally love the way it looks.

So, are you saying that the GP Thunder 8500k tinted bulbs are brighter than the GP Thunder LEDs?...I checked your site and the bulbs look OK in the shadow, but I'm wondering how they would look in the sun - I assume they would be much dimmer than the stock, due to the extra coating @ same power output
