As a NY resident, is there a difference if you lease from a NJ dealer versus a NY dealer? Can you get better rates in NJ?

Sorry if this has been discussed but I didnt have any luck searching old threads.

Makes no difference. You are going to pay the same tax, the bottom line is who wants to get more aggressive with the price of the car. PM me, I can get you a great deal on whatever car you want.

yah, you'll be paying sales taxes from where you live. at least thats how the dealer explained it to me.
