GVA PotHole..
Hey guys..
I just came home after hitting a pothole (at oak street bridge, just before 99 highway) I have 19 inch wheels and sadly one of them is bent lol.. Who do I report this to? I don't want to pay anything for this as I feel this is the city's fault. I couldn't even avoid it because there were cars all around me. I know it'd be good to take pictures of the pot hole but it's basically right before highway so it's kind of difficult.. (many cars) I already took pictures of the bent wheel. Can anyone who had similar experience help me out? Thanks a lot. (note: I was going at speed limit. 60 km/h) |

to report the pothole for city roads:
https://secure.toronto.ca/webwizard/...pothole_repair to report on highways: Highway maintenance falls under the jurisdiction of the province (Ministry of Transportation). If you wish to report the location of potholes or other highway maintenance problems, contact the ministry district office in your area. To make a complaint about potholes or general highway conditions, please submit a form at MTO INFO or call MTO at 416-235-4686 or toll-free at 1-800-268-4686. (TTY: 905-704-2426 or 1-866-471-8929). to file a claim on highways you can send your letter to: Ministry of Government Services Risk Management & Insurance Services 700 University Ave, 6th floor Toronto, ON M7A 2S4 Do a google search for "pothole claim letter" for examples of what to put in/how to write the letter. |

Outside of forums, I never hear GVA. Hasn't it always been GVR or GVRD?

Thanks for the replies guys.. useful or not .
Just an update, I contacted City Hall and they said they're not responsible for most of the bridges. Including Oak Street Bridge. BC ministry of transportation seems to be the one responsible for the bridge roads |
