Exclamation Wanted: 335is mufflers

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
This might be a long shot but it's pretty much the only low-cost, quiet exhaust system I've considered at the moment.

If anyone with a 335is has considered upgrading their exhaust system, I'm interested in purchasing your stock mufflers, just forward of the axle hump back to the tips. I can even offer my brand new E92 stock (dealer replaced, clamped) mufflers in exchange if you want to keep something OEM around.

PM or reply with details.

That's some good stuff! Will there be enough Vaseline left over to help fitting the clamps?

Are the e92 and 335is mufflers the same? My inclination would be that "yes they are" but I'd like to xinfirm

I doubt BMW would change something like that since the E9X series was/is ending

I bought 335is mufflers for my e90 and they are louder than stock e90/e92 but quieter than the BMW PE system (which I also had on my car briefly). They fit perfectly on e92's but tips will stick out about an inch more on e90's. I took them off my e90 until I decide whether to cut the tips back, replace with aftermarket tips (Dimisa or Cyba) or sell it outright.
