There's no problem with the engine, a lot of N52 engines make ticking noise when cold weather. All BMW's burn a little bit of oil, and require a top-up. If you want to do it less frequently I suggest you buy some top quality synthetic oil. I have changed to LubroMOLY and have not burned any oil since.

Best oil for the N52 engine.

It is hard to tell with just the sound, but it may be a solenoid or just noisy lifters. And 0.5L of oil in 2000km is quite a bit of oil lost.

As hard as it to understand what you are actually saying, that video says a thousand words. Sounds like you have a classic case of this:

I had that noise too and turned out to be noisy lifters.

Dealer replaced my cylinder heard after replacing the lifters(temporary fix).

Happens with cars that are not driven for long periods of a time. Short driving does not allow the engine to pump enough oil into the lifters which causes the tick.

Not sure about the oil consumption though.

The oil consumption definitely doesn't sound normal. On my 328i I have had to add one quart after about 12,000km, so if you are down a half quart after only 2,000km, something is definitely wrong.

I don't care what car it is ( saw a brand new R8 with it's owner adding oil). If you drive the car like you stole it, meaning high RPM's, you will burn oil. And if the OP is from Quebec, well, you heard about those Montreal drivers didn't you? Well I'm one of them.... Mon estie de tabarnak! LOL

I heard the same from my dealer service Manager when discussing N52 known issues vs N54, he mentioned that it's related to pocket of air getting trapped on the top of the Cylinder as results of short driven engine "or that what I understood" . they can fix the problem but not sure if it's under CPO or any extended warranty.

I can understand your frustration as it'd annoying to drive a BMW that idle rough.

btw as for oil consumption I am not sure about our Engines but I know the new 2.4 Honda on Accord burn 1 L each 1500 KM,
