I got $165 for mine from one of the online places that buy them - I want to say Cash4Laptops.

It was an interesting experience, as they quoted me the $165 "subject to inspection", but said they would pay shipping both ways if I declined thier updated offer. I sent it in, they called me and said due to the (typical and normal) case back cracks they could only offer $90. I told them to send it back. This resulted in a few minutes of back and forth and "checking with the manager". I stuck to my guns and told them $165 or ship it back to me, and they coughed up the $165.

This was last October.

I sold my iPhone 2G a year ago for $237.50.

I remember the exact amount because I never got it back from USPS after they lost my package....bitches.

Replace "lost" with "stole". It's weird that I hear about many iphone packages being "lost" but the packages with old pics of grandma and random things with no resale value always get there safe and sound.

But yeah, if you really want to know what it is worth, go to eBay and search for them. And filter the results for the "completed listings" to see what people have recently bid on them. Then filter through to find some in similar condition with the same accessories. It will be more accurate than what anyone will guess at here.
