Dealer sticking it to me? .0020 MF

I just got a quote for a 335i sedan. He told me that my money factor was .0020. I have over 800 cr score and that is the best they can do. What are others with good credit ratings getting?

They're allowed to mark up the MF, but I'd try to find a dealer who doesn't. It should be 0.00150 for 24-42mo (0.00120 for returning customers). Aren't you in GOLFRR's neck of the woods? I'd shoot him a PM.

I am in his neck of the woods. I was going to give my local guy a chance. Funny enough he told me .0015 and .0012 (loyalty) over the phone this morning, then sent me an email with .0020 and .0017(loyalty).

When I emailed him back to confirm what the actual numbers were he stated that .0020 and .0017(loyalty) were correct.

I am trying to contact Steve Thomas BMW as they are about a 30min drive.

I'd imagine that would be a nice, scenic 30min drive home with your new BMW

As bored as I am waiting for my new car to arrive, I actually gave some thought to how much it would suck that my dealership is only 10min of crappy socal traffic away from my house.

Anyway, it seems that usually they drop the mark-up as soon as they realize you'll call them on it

Hey Shogun,

Go here for the monthly published residuals and lease rates. If you are going with a 48 month lease, your dealer is quoting you correctly.

Good Luck,

I guess that i forgot to mention that I am doing a ED. I guess BMW states that they have to add .0003 MF for all EDs. I ended up getting .0016 which is .0012 +.0001 (dealer markup) + .0003 for ED = .0016. I guess I am ok with that being that i got 600 over MSRP.

Sorry, I meant invoice. 600 over MSRP would not have been a good deal.
