How long does it take to go in to production?

I know I am being impatient....

Just want to know the time frame so I don't drive myself crazy checking My BMW.

2011 328ic

I ordered 2/16, production # 2/19, website says ordered.

What would be my in production date ballpark?

Once it is in production I assume I should be able to track what is happening from there.

Thanks

Your CA can tell you. There is no ballpark without a build week, which your CA knows. Depends on where the allocation was when he got you the production number - could be a car ready for production tomorrow or a month or so from now.

This is what I just got from my sales guy.

This car is scheduled for the 13th week which would be the last week of March. However, as I mentioned it will jump up in the next couple of days to an earlier build. It will still have the apps as long as it is built from 3/1/2011 forward

So, if what he says is true....I should have the BMW apps and worst case I am in 13th week.

Hope you get your earlier build dates. Waiting is hard.

If it were me I'd forget about the possibility of earlier build and if I got the e-mail that production started before the 13th week it would exceed expectations.

This is what I plan to do.

Now that I know it's week 13 I don't have to check with BMW everyday

Also, I still have my 318ic that I can drop the top on if it gets nice while waiting for my 328ic
