Went to the 2011 Toronto Auto Show, it was crowded

So I went to the auto show and the place was nut, everyone brought the kids and they was all over everything, and it was hard to take a picture of anything, someone would hit me or get in the way.

Well I tried my best and here are some pics.

Nice pics.

I was at the show this morning and it wasn't too busy, but by the time I left this afternoon it was getting really crowded. Unfortunately I forgot my camera so I only took a few crappy pics with my BlackBerry.

I went friday night, the place was dead. The last time I went to the Toronto show was 1999 as I started going to Detoit in 2000.
I must say the Toronto show is no better than going to a dealership, I was pretty dissapointed and would not go back.
Only positive from the show was that I ran into my CA so I got to sit in every car even the frozen M3, 6 vert, X6M and thorougly check them out

Nice pics tho Farley, place looked jammed. On Friday night you could have thrown stones and not hit a single soul. It was that dead.

Thanks for posting up.
I was thinking about heading down today, but then I remembered how jam packed it would be.

If i go today around noon, do you think it will be less busy enough to be worth going today rather than next saturday right when it opens? I'm trying to convince my friend to go today :P

PS: Those pics are awesome, i can't wait to see the 1M

Thanks for the pics farley.

I went on Sunday afternoon, and it was crowded as hell. I hate crowds, and it killed the whole experience for me.

Highlights for me were being able to sit in the audi R8, and seeing the LF-A in person. The tri exhaust on the LF-a look corny as hell to me.

Last time I went to the toronto auto show was in 1993, at the skydome. Was on the first date with a girl, who is now my wife

Did you visit the basement floor with all the exotic car.

X1 starts at 28k if I remember correctly, but the interior is crap on the base model that's available to sit in.

Kelv thats not a half bad base MSRP, with the various packages i would assume around 5-7K more for a loaded version?

Hows the size compared to the x3?

was there yesterday and it was brutal. I really don't think the auto show is a place to bring children, but thats just my biased opinion lol.

It was nice seeing going down, haven't been in ages. Kinda annoying having to fight through all the people though. The BMW lounge was nice, but nothing really special.

Agreed, I sat in that X1 and found the interior seemed really cheap looking.
