Nilfisk E140 for £171
I have looking at getting a pressure washer for ages or more specifically a Nilfisk E140 which had good reviews on Detailing World. They are usually around the £215 or more mark but ordered one off Amazon earlier for £177 and see Argos are now selling them for £171. Since spring is in the air I thought you may all want to treat yourselves.

Got mine for £185 a couple of months ago also from Argos and stuck and extra two year warranty on it for £45 (so now 4 years) - brilliant machine and particularly good with the Autobrite snow foam lance I got with it!
It went back up to over £200 just after I got it at Argos - grab it while you can! |

R8ot - not sure but the power is enough to clean my wheels which is handy. A little sturdier too but probably not much in it. Doesn't come with many extras but then I don't need them.

have you guys got the "auto nozzle" to go with it?
I got my c120 and without the auto nozzle it was very poor for car cleaning. Auto nozzle is £11 plus £7 shipping from www.cleanstore.co.uk |

£7 to ship that?!!
Not got one but mine cleans very well. Comes with two lances (and I bought the snow foam one as an extra) - the variable one does a great job. The other one is more for patios and stuff I think. |

Have you looked on Amazon. I ordered mine from there first thing this morning and it was £177 so that may be worth a look. Only spotted Argos was cheaper after I placed the Amazon ordered but since there was naff all in it I just stuck with my inital purchase. Should arrive hopefully the end of next week so I will have plenty to do next saturday.

I was looking for one myself after my Karcher motor blew after 4 yr's. I was wondering if their was a big difference in the 120 Nilfisk which is £100? and the 140 which is £71 more....
I've heard that Nilfisk are a good brand that does good pressure washer's. Last edited by Candy 01; 02-20-2011 at 04:31 PM.. |

The C120 is fine, I have one and it's great for washing the car etc.
Mine came with a bunch of accessories but the only one I use is the variable-lance. It's great for rinsing the car. I also bought (separately) a foam-lance which works fine with the C120. |

Yea i might get a c120 myself don't think their is a major difference between the c120 and the c140 to justify the extra £70.

The E140 (C120 is from the "compact" range", E140 is from the comically named "Excellent" range!) is a fair bit more robust than than the C120 and that extra 20 bar and increased flow rate does make a fair difference. My 125 bar (RIP!) Halfords washer struggled a bit on my wheels - my E140 rips through most of the dirt.
However the C120 is still very good and amazing VFM - Nilfisk definitely seem to rule to domestic pressure washer market. |
