New Canberra Based e92 m3 owner
Hi guys. sold my e46 m3 about 5 months back.
drove a few 997cs and a few e92 m3s and decided to buy the m3 due to not being able to fund a Porsche 997cs. my opinion so far of the e92 m3 is that its a very allrounded car. its lost its e46 m3 bite. |

Hey mate, what are the specs of your M3? Post some pics!
Yeah i agree, the E92 does not have the same character as the E46 M3. But it is so much better in otherways |

Whilst I haven't driven the E92 M3 I sold my E46 M3 and was going to buy an E92 M3 or E60 M5. I still like the M5 but the running costs really make me think twice and whilst I may still go to the E92 M3 to me it just doesn't have the presence of the E46.
Good luck with the M3, I am sure it is still a great car and a leap forward in many ways from the E46. |

I'm in Canberra tk, my car is an 08 too. I have mine serviced at Rolfe, only had one service, the intervals are ~25000ks so you never get there often. I have had a succession of cars bought and serviced there without any problems.

Thanks for the info, I have heard lots of mixed feedback about Rolfe, nice to hear some positive comments for once.
Do you guys indulge in any track days? if so, please pm me I would be very keen to get to know my car a lot better. I will keep an eye out for your Alpine with black rims, love that combination. tk |

i haven't serviced the car yet. i'm sure rolfe is pretty good but they charge an arm and a leg. for my previus e46 m3, i drove down for the day and serviced it at peak performance in parra in sydney. send me a pm and i can give you an invite to eastern creek for a track day.
my neighbour just bought the 2011 "edition" sedan with black grills, wheels, exhaust, and side indicators. |

I will post some pics once I have registered the car,
I have to wait until Wednesday to get a vehicle ID check done at the depot, I only have permits to drive for Tuesday and Wednesday so I have the car sitting nicely in the garage waiting patiently. Are any of you guys going to the shannons show this weekend ? |

send me your email and i'll forward it to you. i know of another m3 driver who is possibly doing the track day.
i have not swapped my rego over to act either, using up the nsw rego before swapping over. i was unaware of the show, till just then, i will go but i'll bring my classic porsche out, it would suit the event better. |
