fitting splitters?
hi
anyone got any usefull tips or diy of fitting splitters ona sports bumper. just had a set sprayed and are ready to fit! anyone got any pics of some fitted on a silver E90 to see how they would look like when fitted? thanks |

they look exactly like these, even the colour!!

I've got them on mine and look exactly like that silver one. They really change the front end, make it more purposeful without looking chavvy.
I fitted them by using no more nails strips, the bottom section should have holes located on them and they have the be screwed using the screws holding the wind deflector on, this pulls the bottom edge up with the no more nails holding the top bit tight. Ten mins to fit, make sure the surface on the bumper has been cleaned with a good degreaser first though otherwise it won't stick properly. Well worth it. |

If they are a good fit: Double sided no more nails red tape will do it.
If they are crap: You'll need araldite. I have the same ones:

If its good enough to hold spoilers down it should be good enough to hold the splitter down.
The no more nails I used has kept my splitters really firm to the bumper, no movement whatsoever. |
