fitting splitters?

hi

anyone got any usefull tips or diy of fitting splitters ona sports bumper.

just had a set sprayed and are ready to fit!

anyone got any pics of some fitted on a silver E90 to see how they would look like when fitted?

hoping to fit them over the weekend so will take some pics then...

found an e90 in silver with them on... i think they look sicckkk!!

I've got them on mine and look exactly like that silver one. They really change the front end, make it more purposeful without looking chavvy.

I fitted them by using no more nails strips, the bottom section should have holes located on them and they have the be screwed using the screws holding the wind deflector on, this pulls the bottom edge up with the no more nails holding the top bit tight. Ten mins to fit, make sure the surface on the bumper has been cleaned with a good degreaser first though otherwise it won't stick properly.

Well worth it.

For sure.
Get some Isopropyl Alcohol or Isopropanol to wipe every bit of wax off.

If they are a good fit: Double sided no more nails red tape will do it.

If they are crap: You'll need araldite.

i got some of that 'beta' stuff that bmw sell with spoilers, would that be any good?

If its good enough to hold spoilers down it should be good enough to hold the splitter down.

The no more nails I used has kept my splitters really firm to the bumper, no movement whatsoever.
