Modified Clutch Valve in Toronto??
So being new I've been reading lots of different posts, and this is something I think I'd like to get done. Would this void my warranty? Can anyone recommend someone that could do this for me?
Thanks. |

Why would anyone want to fu$% with that? Its probably there for a reason. If you can't shift this car smoothly maybe you should have an at?

Quite the opposite my friend. It's there for people who can't shift properly. The CDV delete was the best thing I ever did to my previous car and it won't void the warranty because there is no way in hell they will even know about it.

i'm sure rocco could do it for $60 if you provide the new CDV, you could just do it yourself; note if you have xdrive, you need a special swivel type wrench to get to the slave.
don't bore out your old one; metal flakes remain and end up in the line...will cause damage later on. its a great mod. downshifting is more connected. |

The OP should not feel alone in an interest in the CDV delete mod. I've been driving MT for 30 years - 3,4,5 speeds in everything from cars to trucks and tractors - and I found the 6MT to be very tricky to shift smoothly in the low gears without riding the clutch, even after 4 years.
