How much for ED 335i E90 with M-Sport, Premium, Manual, Heated Seats, Alpine White?

Anyone venture a guess on how much I could expect to save vs. MSRP? What is invoice for this combination?

Go to Edmunds.com and you will be able to get invoice pricing for any particular combination of options you want.

Okay, did that. Where's the latest info on the discount for ED?

Thought it was ~7% off base invoice with options added at invoice. Has it changed?

Here's what I found on Edmunds:

2011 BMW 3 Series 335i
*Price as configured

Invoice
$44,965

MSRP
$48,875

TMV
$46,343

Base Price
$37,810 $41,100 $38,745

Alpine White
$0$0$0

Chestnut Brown
$0$0$0

Heated Front Seats
$455$500$471

M Sport Package
$3,415$3,750$3,533

Premium Package
$2,410$2,650$2,495

Destination Fee
$875$875$875

Regional Adjustment
$224

Color Adjustment
$0

Total Price
$44,965 (invoice) $48,875 (MSRP) $46,343 (TMV)

Invoice is $44,965, so if I subtract 7% ($2,647) from the base invoice price of $37,810, add the options and fees at invoice, the total ED invoice would be $42,328. What is the least amount over ED invoice I could expect to pay? What about dealer fees, if any? Sales tax would apply, of course.

The local dealship is quoting $1k over Euro delivery invoice. Has anyone beaten $500 over invoice? If so, how much did you pay?

Okay, now we're down to $650 over Euro delivery invoice. Is this a good deal?

You did well. Depending on your counter offer to get you to 650 over you might not be able to get the base price down.

I recommend (if you have't signed) to agree to the price if they throw in the floor mats. You'll make up the $150 with those.

They're throwing in the floor mats with this deal. Do BMW dealers get anything like "holdback" or other hidden dealer incentives that we don't see? I once bought a Nissan for $700 under holdback, which was in turn something like $1500 under invoice. The company was paying the dealers special incentives to get them out the door. I'm guessing that for BMW, this is not the case, or if it is we'll never see any of it.

The saleman told me that on Euro delivery cars they don't get any special incentives such as holdback, etc., as these cars don't come out of their allocation. I suppose that I did okay of I got $650 above invoice with $140 mats thrown in.

Not trying to be smart, but do you really feel the need to get every last nickel out of the dealer? I don't understand spending hours trying to get the last $150.00 or so out of the dealer on a $45K car. In your case you are already getting about the best possible deal. The salesman has to make a living.

Signed the contract today to order the car, so we're off and running. I did go with Alpine White, black leather, manual, M-sport, premium, heated seats, and Ipod adaptor. I'm very satisfied with the deal as described above and the salesman was a true gent. We're scheduling Euro delivery in early May to coincide with a visit to our daughter in France and a trip to Austria, so the logistics worked out just right.

Congrats.

You will love Euro delivery. They will treat you like a king at The Welt. Try to squeeze in the factory tour. And don't forget to hit the lounge upstairs. They have an incredible spread during breakfast and lunch. All inclusive! Even the beer!

Delivery date is set for 5/11/2011. We could have scheduled it earlier, but our daughter isn't available to come to Munich from France until early May.

On another note, has anyone taken advantage of the buy one/get one free ticket deal from Lufthansa when picking up their car at the Welt?

I used the two for one lufthansa deal, but the prices aren't usually the greatest, and you might be able to find two tickets for cheaper than the two for one deal. You still pay taxes on the 2nd ticket.

Since I was ordering the tickets 1 month out the prices were pretty high, and so I would definitely shop around and look at the total cost of a similar flight schedule not using the lufthansa deal, and then if you see a flight that works for you that is using Lufthansa you can call them to see what the price they can offer you. Despite the base cost of the one plane ticket that i found was a lot less than the base cost using Lufthansa, only paying taxes on the 2nd ticket helped with the cost.

The lufthansa ticket may be good, but I do think if you spend the time to shop around, especially this far out, you might find better prices elsewhere. Talk to them once you find a good deal and see what they can offer you and then using the two prices you have and the schedule the two flight plans can offer you, make your decision from that.
