this is not a storm. it's just the pathetic local media trying to get ratings and readership. if I can drive my RWD 3 to work, then I don't consider it a storm!

I live in Markham, and this "storm" was/has been pathetic.

My Hakkas are crying for a real snow storm!!! I love accelerating faster than every other car at the stop light... in my RWD!

A lot of people basically took today off, so traffic wise, it's very smooth sailing. It only took me an extra 10 minutes to work this morning, and because I was driving on local roads and not on the highway.

Around York Mills/Leslie this morning, there's hardly any cars, and snow were all cleared/plowed.

Around Scarborough, where I am now, it was snowing pretty hard, but it doesn't seems to be that bad.

When we are talking about 1 foot of snow, it's not really that bad compare to 4 ft of snow in US...

Then again, I am driving a xi with snows....

I'm jealous of all the snow you guys are getting. Where is this storm that was supposed to hit Vancouver this year?

i seriously don't know what's wrong with them. I'm thinking starting a petition to get the # of taxis reduced as there are just too many in downtown and they are ALL dangerous. I got many MANY close calls. Compared to manhattan's taxis, these guys are just retarded (slow reaction and making u-turns all of a sudden, taking their time when vacant - jamming traffic, and swerving in and out of traffic when they have a customer). Sorry for the rant but it particularly ticks me off when this happens in snow and things are too close for comfort.
