Is this a good price?
Hi guys, I've been lurking for a few months now as I've been shopping for my perfect first Bimmer. I think I found it. 2008 335i coupe, 6MT, Black Saphire Metallic, Coral Red Interior, Premium, Sport, Nav......$36k. Is it a little high priced?
I can't wait to contribute to this great forum! |

Maybe... My lease is up on my 2008 335I Coupe, 6MT, Alpine White, Coral Red, Premium, Sport, Nav, Ipod/USB. 30k miles. The residual on my car is a little over $29k. Are you getting it from a dealer? I'm sure that would be their markup so they themselves can make some money.

That's roughly correct. It's an average price for what you've listed the car has and its mileage. The only way you'll get a 335i cheaper than that price with those options (and still 2008) is if it had a wreck in the past or replacement parts etc.
I'd go for it. I dropped about that for mine and I say it's worth every dime. The only thing I recommend you do is what I regret not doing.... ask a local BMW dealer for a spin in a 335d (Diesel). The torque is unbelievable, and I mean it. But the 335 has pleased me beyond what I expected, and then some! |

But whatever you do, under no circumstance should you visit a Lexus or Infiniti dealership and compare those cars to a German make, especially BMW. On these forums they'd shoot on on the spot.
