viper 791xv alarm

ive been shopping around for alarms and ive really been liking the viper 791, specially the feature that alerts ur keychain when ur car is being harmed. what do u guys think about this alarm and is it safest to have it installed at the bmw dealer? btw someone folded one of my side mirror by force yesterday and made me wanna get this alarm faster

viper and other dei products are pretty complicated if you have never dealt with them before. i would be suprised if anyone at the bmw dealership is up to date on the DEI products. even if they USED to instal car alarms and then worked their way up to bmw service, they will be sooo out of the loop. i would think you are better off finding a very reputable installer. which in LA, it shouldnt be too hard. to you car to a place that usually works on BMW and better. Not where you car will be the nicest one they have done.
also make sure you arent gonna lose any factory functions. make sure the viper remote will be able to do everything your stock remote does. and then make sure that with the key and immobilizer system, this alarm is even able to be installed. and PLEASE let us know what oyu find out.
