Chap, i NEVER said i would do a 335d on a strip....i repeated that, maybe ten times...come on now. Big hp difference there and that + driver skill is what counts.
Thats like a Veyron owner saying he would do you..... Of course they would. Badly. With blood. I was just musing that on OUR back roads, in the real world. Would i pick a fight with a 335d?........yup, absolutely. Maybe not ALL 335d drivers are as committed or skilled a driver as your good self mate. A Clio's handling would flatter even the most spastic driver (me) moreso than a 335d im sure. J |

nice vids.............
that vauxhall was dissapointing, the cupra seemed like he had his handbrake on ( as did the 320d) & the 335i was a bit off the pace. How much is it down to the fact that in the 335d you just bury the throttle & take off ?? |

Its quite hard to get off the line perfectly. Standing starts are not its Forte... Rolling starts are!!!! Even quicker from a roller.

Just pulling away is slow. You do have to "Brake Boost" T/c completely off. Get some practise with it partially off at first.
