other have expressed that they felt the price was too cheap. Im using this basis to decide if I will pursue further interest in this car. Any opinion would help with my decision. Thx.

If it's a CPO why bring it to 'another' mechanic? The CPO process is pretty rigorous and I don't think they would CPO a vehicle if they knew there were issues with the car that would cause them to have to spend money to fix it all of the time. I'm perplexed....

It's a reasonable deal. As always try to get them to drop the price by a couple grand, but it's certainly not, by any means, the worst deal going. Also, with just 19K miles, you're in good position to have any issues you discover covered under the warranty.
Go get your car and enjoy. (Apologies for the disconnectedness of the second sentence...I'm not going to fix it now that I've posted it.)

Personally if the car history is clean, I would save the CPO cost. The major issue is the HPFP but it is covered to 120k miles already. |

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

Thanks a lot guys. Contacted my local BMW dealer and according to them the car has been in once for regular maintenance and once to replace the HPFP. Gonna call tomorrow and see what we can work out.

Vehicles price has dropped by $1,000. Price is now $33,988. Also if the HPFP has failed once, does that necessarily mean that vehicle has a greater risk of it failing again, as opposed to a vehicle where the HPFP has not failed at all?
