BMW 335i Inspection Advice
Hey everyone,
I plan on purchasing an 08 BMW 335i coupe. I'm wondering if their are anythings to look for when looking at the car to see if it is in good shape. In particular I'm wondering if their is a way to check the status of the fuel pump/ turbo. Also any other advice such as noises with the turbo and what not to look for when inspecting a 335i. Thanks for the help |

Check for bubbles in the in the tires (also look at the inside of the tires from underneath the car). Since it's an '08 it should still be under the factory warranty so if you have HPFP or wastegate issues you can get that fixed. HPFP first signs are usually long cranks when starting and the wastegate rattle will sound like a can of marbles under the hood when you let off the gas.

Did you know that, even if it's not CPO, many dealers will do an independent inspection? They'll prepare a written report with findings. Of course, seller needs to let you take the car to a dealer.
